Cycling in Oregon Wine Country

Tandem Cyclists

Recent guests from the East Coast showed us the very best way to see the country is on a bicycle.  This adventuresome couple brought their tandem bike on the airplane – all apart  in its special case.  They rode about 30 miles each day – in 10 mile increments – stopping to allow for breaks in the weather, to meet & chat with the locals, to smell the “roses”, and to taste some fine wine.  They even took the Wheatland Ferry across the Willamette River  to a wonderful park on the other side.

We were honored to host them at our Bed & Breakfast for 5 days…. more proof only the best guests stay at B & B s.

    I would love to take a tour of the vineyards in Oregon, especially by bicycle. I have toured much of France and Tuscany on bicycle, and would really enjoy some Northwest, State-side road adventure. Thanks for posting this informative piece. I hope to get down to your area this summer.
