The Lobenhaus Bed & Breakfast gardens have been ”flocked” !!  Magically, dozens of pink flamingos appeared among the flowers, by the waterfall…. all over the lawn.  What a novel idea.  Students from a local group is raising money to fund their trip next spring.  For a small or (generous) donation they are  happy to move the birds on to your friend’s yard to be “flocked”.  Our B & B guests got a big kick out of the lawn decor!  Several folks borrowed the idea to use in their own fund-raising projects.

    “Holy Pink Flamingos Batman!” Did your guests awaken in the morning, look out the window, cup of coffee in hand, and exclaim this before moving on to the delicious scones? I certainly would have.
    I’m curious to know who the local student group is, where are they hoping to go? We were Flocked once here at ISO, but it was more of a mini gaggle, than a full blown flock.
