Vine Run 2010 Carlton Oregon

Wow, what a fine group of athletes!  Half- Marathon runners.  All sizes, ages, level of  fitness… all up at the crack of dawn to enjoy the Oregon wine countryside.  We stood by the great fir trees by our driveway to cheer them on… they smiled back & said thanks for coming out to support THEM… can you believe?  Our own B & B hosted runners.. at 0515  we served coffee, juices, bananas, cold cereals, baked healthful oatmeal (with nuts, chopped apples & craisins), blueberry muffins and morning glory muffins… bowl of fresh cherries…
mmmm…

Run for Wine 2010 Carlton Oregon

Now on to the celebration with liquid fruit of the vine..  wine
tasting festivities in Carlton, “Who’s on Third” in downtown 
McMinnville, and continuing with most wineries through the long holiday 
weekend. Lobenhaus Bed and Breakfast and Vineyard loves the Vine Run Half Marathon!
Hopefully this inaugural event will continue annually.
