Oregon Hazelnut Farmers Honored – N.Y. Times

The Lobenhaus Bed & Breakfast is proud to serve hazelnuts from Freddy Guys. We use ground hazelnuts in the batter for our signature heart shaped hazelnuts pancakes…topped with syrup & more hazelnuts.  We package treat bags of the roasted hazelnuts for gifts in each guest room.  Several of our guests have become regular consumers of the nuts… ordering

Spring Flowers Lobenhaus B & B, Oregon

Lobenhaus Spring Flowers

Spring has sprung… the grounds are in full boom… sun is shining in Carlton, Oregon.  Guests this weekend from MD & FL were so thrilled to be in OR… amazed it did not rain once while they were here for a conference in Portland…. they took a day to travel the Columbia Gorge, with stops to visit the falls… and all the way to Mt. Hood.  The next day they motored to the coast ( a bit busy there due to spring break), then drove to wine country for a grand finale to their trip.  This morning a very early healthy breakfast sent them on their journey to the airport for long flight home.  Only the BEST guests stay at B & Bs !!!
