The Lobenhaus Bed & Breakfast gardens have been ”flocked” !! Magically, dozens of pink flamingos appeared among the flowers, by the waterfall…. all over the lawn. What a novel idea. Students from a local group is raising money to fund their trip next spring. For a small or (generous) donation they are happy to move the birds on to your friend’s yard to be “flocked”. Our B & B guests got a big kick out of the lawn decor! Several folks borrowed the idea to use in their own fund-raising projects.

The Lobenhaus had a very special visitor the other day – a handsome American Bald Eagle! Wish I could share a photo… but he gave me the eagle eye & soared away. Mr. Eagle was flying from tree to tree watching the rainbow trout in our pond. Absolutely beautiful in flight!
